How to Create and Assign Training

Build Your Course

</aside>

1. Go to Admin > Setup Training > Create a Course
2. Enter the Course Title
3. Click Assign Course to Team and select relevant teams
4. Click Create Course

Add and Customise Modules

</aside>

1. Upload your own content (Word, PDF, PowerPoint, or video)
2. Or build modules directly using Obbi’s Slide Editor
3. Add a course image and category for easy organisation
4. Rename modules and set expiry dates or notifications as needed

Set Completion Requirements

1. Choose between Acknowledgment (read and confirm)
2. Or add a Quiz to check understanding (see below for how)
3. Click Publish Module when ready

Add Quiz Questions (Optional)

1. Select Assessment Type: Questions
2. Set total questions and pass mark (default 75%)
3. Click Add Question, then enter text and correct answers
4. Save and Publish the module

“What if staff don’t have email or computers?”

That’s exactly why Obbi is mobile-first. Staff can access training via QR code or a simple link — no email required, no passwords to remember.

“Do we have to build every course from scratch?”

Not at all. Obbi comes with pre-built Safety Essentials modules you can use as-is or customise. You can also upload your own files — fast and easy.

“Can I see who hasn’t completed their training?”

Yes — Obbi shows you a live view of completions, overdue training, and who's yet to start. It’s visible by department, role, or individual.

“What happens when training expires?”

You’ll set an expiry date, and Obbi will take care of the rest — automatic reminders are sent out so no one falls behind.

“Can I add quizzes or make it just a read-and-confirm?”

Both options are available. Use read-and-acknowledge for policies or general info, or add quizzes when you want to check understanding.
