Obbi
</aside>
<aside>
Obbi’s “Teams” feature brings structure and visibility, making it easy to manage staff responsibilities without the admin headache.
</aside>
In a busy club, keeping track of who’s responsible for what - and making sure they’re trained and assigned correctly - can be overwhelming, especially across departments or locations.
With Obbi, you can:
- Create teams based on department, site, or role
- Assign tasks, training, and assets to the right group
- Set team managers for oversight and reporting
- Monitor performance and progress in real time
🛡 Why It Matters

If teams aren’t clearly defined, things fall through the cracks - missed checks, duplicated tasks, or incomplete training.
Obbi helps you:
- Assign roles and responsibilities accurately
- Make sure the right people get the right information
- Track who’s doing what — with no chasing
- Give each staff member a focused, personalised view
The result? Less confusion, more accountability, and a safer, smoother-running club.

Creating and Managing Teams
</aside>
- Go to Admin > Teams, then click Create a Team
- Enter a Team Name, and (if needed) assign a Parent Team to organise sub-teams under departments
- Example: “Bar Team” under “Cleaners”
- After creating the team, assign:
- Team Managers — those responsible for overseeing progress
- Team Members — staff who belong to the team
- Once set, you can assign tasks, training, or assets directly to this team — saving time and ensuring relevance

Deleting a Team
</aside>
- From the Teams list, click Choose Team and select the team to delete
- Click Delete Team and confirm when prompted - Don’t worry — this won’t delete individual staff or their records, just the team structure

âť“ Common Questions
“Can a staff member be in more than one team?”
Yes, and this is useful if someone covers multiple roles (e.g. “Course Team” and “Health & Safety Team”).
“Will tasks or training assigned to a team go to all members?”
Yes, once assigned, all team members will receive the task or training automatically.
“Can I change team managers later?”
Yes, just edit the team, and you can add or remove managers at any time.
“What’s a Parent Team used for?”
Parent teams help you structure departments, which is useful for larger clubs with layered teams.
“Can I track completion by team?”
Yes, you can filter training, tasks, or reports by team to see who’s on track and who needs support.
