Creating and Managing Teams

  1. Go to Admin > Teams, then click Create a Team
  2. Enter a Team Name, and (if needed) assign a Parent Team to organise sub-teams under departments
  3. After creating the team, assign:
  4. Once set, you can assign tasks, training, or assets directly to this team — saving time and ensuring relevance

Deleting a Team

  1. From the Teams list, click Choose Team and select the team to delete
  2. Click Delete Team and confirm when prompted - Don’t worry — this won’t delete individual staff or their records, just the team structure

“Can a staff member be in more than one team?”

Yes, and this is useful if someone covers multiple roles (e.g. “Course Team” and “Health & Safety Team”).

“Will tasks or training assigned to a team go to all members?”

Yes, once assigned, all team members will receive the task or training automatically.

“Can I change team managers later?”

Yes, just edit the team, and you can add or remove managers at any time.

“What’s a Parent Team used for?”

Parent teams help you structure departments, which is useful for larger clubs with layered teams.

“Can I track completion by team?”

Yes, you can filter training, tasks, or reports by team to see who’s on track and who needs support.
