You can filter or search the board here to find any actions relevant to your work or team.

Creating a New Action

If you have the appropriate permissions, you can create a new Actions directly from the Actions Overview page. Here you will have to enter the following details:

  • Assigned to Team - The team to which the action is assigned (it can be assigned to individuals later)
  • Due Date - The due date, which will flag an alert to managers if missed
  • Category - The category that this action falls under (e.g. Response Maintenance, Planned Maintenance etc.)
  • Action Critical - Whether the action is considered critical and requires special attention
  • Description - The actual description of the work that needs to be done

Once you have created an action, you can assign it to a team member for completion.

You can also fill out extra details here, like attaching a photo of the problem that needs fixed:

We've put together this quick guide to illustrate how an Action can be managed in Obbi over time:

This simple lifecycle is great for keeping everyone on the same page about the progress of your actions. When things change, team managers are alerted so they know that work has been completed or is blocked.

Note History

As changes are made, Obbi will automatically keep a history of changes, which is handy if you ever need to go back and see when something was done.

You can even add your own notes at any time, to record anything unexpected or important about the work being done.

Creating Actions from Task Reports

One of the great things about Obbi is that it beings together all the different parts of your work and connects them in a meaningful way. A good example of this is when a corrective action is raised about an issue found while submitting a task report e.g. as part of an equipment pre-start checks.

This will automatically raise a corrective actions for the appropriate team to manage and take care of:

And they can even see the report where the original report was raised, which is great for sharing information amongst the team:
